Meet The Team

Nelson R.

Hello! My name is Nelson. I'm the proud owner of Denver Pro Pet Sitting. Here is a little about me:

I grew up as a military brat. I moved from state to state and even overseas. In fact, I lived in Japan for three years. Many of my teenage years were spent in Florida, which is where I ended up graduating from high school and college. I received my Bachelor's degree at the University of North Florida, where I majored in Sociology and Psychology. Shortly after, I moved to the beautiful state of Colorado in pursuit of my love for the outdoors and the breathtaking mountainous terrain.

For as long as I can remember, my family was very pet friendly, inviting animals such as dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, reptiles, and more to join our household. I also had the pleasure of helping out my friends with their pet sitting needs. Before I knew it, what I considered a hobby, quickly developed into something much bigger. My exposure to caring for pets at a young age, coupled with my love for animals, is what lead me to develop the company - Denver Pro Pet Sitting. Now, I am lucky to have the opportunity to spread my passion and services to the Denver Metro area.  Both you and your pet's satisfaction are my highest priority!

Danny L.

Hi! My name is Danny. I'm a Manager and Pet Sitter for Denver Pro Pet Sitting. Here is a little bit about me:

I was raised in a military and law enforcement family. I’ve lived in many states throughout my life and I spent the majority of my time in Northern Florida. I have a Bachelors Degree from Florida State University (FSU) for Sociology. My father was a K-9 officer for 13 years from which I learned animal obedience techniques and training for many types of dogs. This type of experience has equipped me with the ability to work with a multitude of different types of dogs, personalities and temperaments.

Animals have always been a passion of mine, always bringing a lot of happiness to my life because I consider them family. I rescued my cat, Emma, and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. She brings joy to my life everyday so I understand the loving relationship animals and their owners share. I’m honored for the opportunity to get to know your animal family - and care for them as if they were my own. That’s why I’m a proud team member for Denver Pro Pet Sitting!

Alisha B.

Hi, my name is Alisha and here is a little bit about me:

Animals have always been some of my greatest friends! I grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a sweet Keeshond, and my family moved to Colorado in 2002, where we welcomed our second Keeshond into our family. I began working with animals professionally at a veterinary clinic and doggie day care during high school and  throughout college, and I loved being around and working with their healing power.

I received my B.A. from Colorado State University in Technical Journalism in 2005, and I pet sat consistently throughout my college experience. In 2010, I moved to Pittsburgh, PA for graduate school to pursue my love of working with people in a clinical role. I received my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and moved back to Denver Colorado in 2013 where I am currently working as a Licensed Professional Counselor pursuing both my loves of working with people and animals at a ranch with horses, dogs, cats, mini-horses, goats, chickens, pigs, and sheep doing equine and animal-assisted therapy.  I absolutely love working with animals and caring for them, and I can't wait to meet you and yours! Take good care.

Hello, my name is Stephanie and I am a lover of all animals!

Growing up in Michigan, our family always owned pets, whether it be dogs, cats, gerbils, fish, or guinea pigs. I have always loved animals and enjoy providing care for our furry friends of all kinds. My family moved to Colorado in 1996 and I've stayed put ever since, graduating from Metro State University with my music education degree. After teaching for a while, I've recently returned to a love of helping people and am working on my master's degree in counseling.

My passion and love for animals has never faded and even though I don't have a pet of my own right now, I truly love animals. In my picture you can see Cleo, my sister's dog who I am pleased to help train, care for and love. I look forward to caring for your furry family member!

Hi, my name is Brad and here is little bit about me:

I recently moved back to Colorado after completing my Master’s in International Security Studies from The George Washington University in Washington D.C. where I focused on environmental security impacts from climate change and technological solutions to help address the challenge. While I never had the opportunity to have a pet when I was growing up in New York City and Connecticut, I always had a great love for the outdoors, and enjoyed spending time with animals.

I have more than 15 years’ experience walking dogs and cat sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. Before going to graduate school, I was a student at Denver University. My younger years in Denver was one of the most memorable times in my life and drove me to come back to the city I love and the community I now call home. I really enjoy taking walks with canine friends, and in my picture you can see Collie, my friends’ dog that I have known and helped raise since it was a puppy 11 years ago. I look forward to taking care of your pet and brightening their day!

Hi there! My name is Kristina and here’s a little about me:

Animals have always been my passion! Growing up, we had two hyper dogs, a snuggling cat, a couple birds, a horse named Sheza, iguanas, turtles, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters and snakes. Taking care of the furry ones and making them a part of our family was always our priority. Something I very much uphold to as an adult with my own family now. Speaking of my family, I have two cats (an F4 SBT Savannah and an all black domestic cat) as well as an amazing husband and daughter I love dearly!

I was born in Cleveland but grew up in South Florida. Went to college in Minnesota, spent some time in Northern & Southern California...and finally found my forever home here in Colorado. I love everything outdoors and being in the open air of the mountains. As an active person, I am constantly running around (literally) and exploring new areas. I look forward to meeting your furry family and creating new relationships with them!

Courtney S.

Hi, my name is Courtney and here’s a little about me:

I am originally from Los Angeles, CA, where I grew up with my two younger sisters and a plethora of animals. When I was not hanging out with my fur babies, I was pet sitting for families in the neighborhood or spending time at the stables. Animals have been a big part of my life, and I am always looking to find new ways to be a part of theirs. Before I adopted my cat, Marley, I used to volunteer at the Dumb Friends League as a Junior Volunteer Club Mentor.

I decided to move to Colorado in 2008, where I graduated from the University of Denver with a Bachelor’s in business administration. I have fallen in love with Colorado and hope to make this my forever home. I am currently working on my Master’s degree in social work and plan to earn my certification in animal-assisted therapy. I am excited to be able to combine my passion for working with animals and helping others. I can’t wait to meet you, and I look forward to serving your furry family!

Hi my name is Rachel and here’s a snippet about me:

I was born and raised near Cleveland, Ohio and then decided I needed a change so I moved to Denver, Colorado. I’ve been out here now for almost two years and I love everything about it! The mountains are gorgeous and I’m so grateful to live so close to them. I’ve always been an animal lover since I could remember and seeing them happy warms my heart. I guess I always knew that I would be a voice for those who cannot speak. Growing up, my parents described our house as the zoo! We had all types of pets from rodents, turtles, cats and dogs - we all loved and cherished our tiny “zoo”.

I’ve been involved with and cared for animals over the past 15 years, starting out volunteering at a local kennel when I was 13. After that, I worked at a pet store and a humane society. I’m also certified in grooming and vet assistant classes as well. I have two dogs of my very own - one named Ella which is my ten year old Yorkie and my other guy, Scout, an Australian Shepherd/Cattle dog that I rescued from the Humane Society that I worked at. I take great pride in caring for others pets and treat them like my own. With 15 years experience I can assure you that your pet will be in great hands and have a blast!
