Meet The Denver Pro Pet Sitting Team
KRISTINA R.
Hi there! My name is Kristina and here’s a little about me:
Animals have always been my passion! Growing up, we had two hyper dogs, a snuggling cat, a couple birds, a horse named Sheza, iguanas, turtles, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters and snakes. Taking care of the furry ones and making them a part of our family was always our priority. Something I very much uphold to as an adult with my own family now. Speaking of my family, I have two cats (an F4 SBT Savannah and an all black domestic cat) as well as an amazing husband and two sweet kiddos that I love dearly!
I was born in Cleveland but grew up in South Florida. Went to college in Minnesota, spent some time in Northern & Southern California...and finally found my forever home here in Colorado. I love everything outdoors and being in the open air of the mountains. As an active person, I am constantly running around (literally) and exploring new areas.
I look forward to meeting your furry family and creating new relationships with them!
Alisha B.
Hi, my name is Alisha, and here is a little bit about me:
I have always had a deep love for animals, and they have always been some of my greatest friends! I grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a sweet Keeshond, and moved to Minnesota for the beginning of my undergraduate degree after completing high school. In 2002, my family moved to Colorado, where we welcomed our second Keeshond into our family. I began working with animals professionally at a veterinary clinic and doggie day care while in school, and loved being around and working with their healing power. I eventually received my B.A. from Colorado State University in Technical Journalism: Television News and Video Communication, and I remained in Fort Collins for eight years after that working with college students planning their next steps, and pet-sitting part-time. In 2010, I moved to Pittsburgh, PA for graduate school to pursue my love of working with people in a clinical role. I received my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and moved back to Denver Colorado in 2013 where I am currently working as a Licensed Professional Counselor pursuing both my loves of working with people and animals at a ranch with horses, dogs, cats, mini-horses, goats, chickens, pigs, and sheep doing equine and animal-assisted therapy. I could not have completed my academic journey without my trusted companion cats Daisy, Beans, and Olive, or our sweet family dog, Zoe.
I absolutely love working with animals and caring for them, and I can't wait to meet you and yours! Take good care.
Emily H.
Hi! My name is Emily and here’s a little bit about me:
I’ve loved animals since I was a child. Unfortunately, my dad was allergic to cats and dogs, so instead of imaginary friends, I had imaginary dogs that I would play with. Growing up, we had fish and birds in the house, and once I got to college, I adopted a ball python and later a bearded dragon.
I grew up in Southern California and graduated UC Santa Barbara with a Zoology degree. My senior year of college I was volunteering at the Santa Barbara Zoo, where I was offered my dream job shortly after I graduated. I initially worked with the barnyard animals, giant anteaters, giraffe, and meerkats; after a couple months I was offered a full-time position working with the elephants. I worked with them for six years, also caring for reindeer, toucans, small monkeys, pigs, and capybaras, among others.
While at the zoo I also worked part-time at a veterinary emergency room as well as a Canine Physical Therapy Clinic, giving me a lot of clinical experience with cats and dogs. More recently, I have done some pet-sitting for friends here and there, and with the pandemic I took the opportunity to change things up and move to Colorado.
I’m excited for this new adventure and look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family members!
Bradley N.
Hi, my name is Brad and here is little bit about me:
I recently moved back to Colorado after completing my Master’s in International Security Studies from The George Washington University in Washington D.C. where I focused on environmental security impacts from climate change and technological solutions to help address the challenge. While I never had the opportunity to have a pet when I was growing up in New York City and Connecticut, I always had a great love for the outdoors, and enjoyed spending time with animals.
I have more than 15 years’ experience walking dogs and cat sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. Before going to graduate school, I was a student at Denver University. My younger years in Denver was one of the most memorable times in my life and drove me to come back to the city I love and the community I now call home. I really enjoy taking walks with canine friends, and in my picture you can see Collie, my friends’ dog that I have known and helped raise since it was a puppy 11 years ago. I look forward to taking care of your pet and brightening their day!
Jade V.
Hello! My name is Jade, and here is a little about me!:
Growing up in the beautiful state of Colorado, my love for animals blossomed early on as I shared my life with dogs, cats, rabbits, and ferrets. After studying Human Services in Minnesota, I explored life in Washington, D.C., and Athens, Georgia, before returning to my roots in Colorado. For the past decade, I've dedicated myself to fostering and pet sitting, and in the last year, I’ve focused on rescuing street dogs from Guatemala. I’ve successfully fostered and found homes for several of these dogs, while also welcoming three into my own family. This mission has become my greatest passion, as I strive to give these dogs a second chance at life.
I live with my husband of seven years, along with our five dogs and three cats, in a lively home filled with love. As a member of Denver Pro Pet Sitting, I am committed to providing the best care for your furry companions. I look forward to meeting you and ensuring your pets feel safe and cherished in your absence!
Rachel S.
Hey, hi, and hello! I'm Rachel but my friends call me Sully. I'm excited to get to know your pets! A bit about me -
Born and raised in Kansas, I had the good fortune to grow up on family land on multiple acres. The houses on my street consisted of my grandparents house, an aunt's house, 3 different uncles' houses - and of course, my father's house - all in a row! Needless to say the pets were plentiful. While we never operated as an official farm, there were many farm animals I got to play with and help take care of not just in our own home but my family neighbors as well. This includes many goats, horses, chickens, ferrets, pigs, a donkey, a llama, cats and dogs of course - and more! At one point we had 5 cats and 7 dogs at once - with sizes ranging from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. So I am quite comfortable with animals of all sizes and handling multiple pets at once.
In 2022, my now fiancé and I moved to Colorado and brought our 2 cat children with us. Gucci, our eldest, runs the house and her personality fits perfectly with her name. Biskitt is our youngest child who is full of energy and always getting into new adventures! Both listen as well as cats do, and both know how to play fetch! I've found it's all about their favorite toy and being very, very, VERY patient.
Having my own pets, I know how important it is to find someone you trust to take care of them when you're away, and in the way that you want them taken care of. I'm excited to meet you and your pets to provide this service, and spend my time hanging out with animals!
Julia B.
Hey there! My name is Julia:
Hello! I'm Julia and I'm honored to take care of your four legged family. I've always had a deep love for animals, growing up with dogs, cats, hamsters, snakes, an iguana, and the little frogs that would take over our pool. I love to travel, learn languages, cook food with plants, sing, listen to music, and spend time out in nature, especially in water. I've worked in 6 doggy daycares over the last 7 years, in a handful of different states, including Hawaii! It wasn't until recently that I figured out what I want to pursue as a career- I am currently in schooling to become a certified dog trainer and will most likely carry on to work with shelter dogs and service dog training as well. Dogs bring me a joy like no other, and creating a trusting bond with them is truly special. It makes me so happy to give owners peace of mind knowing their little creature is in safe hands and getting all of the love they deserve.
Julia J.
Hello there! My name is Julia. Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me!
I've been an animal lover my whole life and grew up with cats, dogs, and fish! I’m originally from Tokyo, Japan, and I've truly enjoyed living in Colorado for 20 plus years (Denver for the past 4 years). It’s great to live in another pet-friendly city! Fun fact, I graduated from Pima Medical Institute as a Medical Assistant.
Caring for animals is truly my passion! After leaving a long career in human healthcare, I became a dog walker and a pet sitter in 2021. This career change has been one of the best decisions of my life! I have both professional and personal experiences handling cats, dogs, fish/aquariums, and other small critters such as turtles, frogs, hamsters, and hedgehogs. It's an absolute joy to care for animals and make sure their needs are met and beyond.
I look forward to getting to know your furry companions!
Emily M.
Hey there! I’m Emily and here’s a little bit about me:
I was born and raised here in the beautiful state of Colorado and have had a passion for animals as long as I remember. As a kid, our household was never complete without animals and was lucky enough to grow up with dogs, birds, snakes, turtles and hamsters and fish! Currently, I have three wonderful chihuahua mixes that are the loves of my life and have been with me on countless adventures.
I went to college at Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs to pursue my love of the mountains and since then have had successful careers in both the jewelry and most recently the ski industry while also being a caretaker for my mom.
Being active outdoors, animals, and caretaking are all huge passions of mine so becoming a professional pet sitter and dog walker is truly my dream job. I can’t wait to brighten your pets day as well as my own by working together!
Claudia T.
Animals, art, and nature have always been my strongest passions in life. In my natural habitat, you will usually find me snuggling with a furbaby, spending time with friends and family, painting, hiking, or playing in my garden. Growing up surrounded by animals as a child, I’ve developed a strong love and empathy for every single one of them. I believe that animals carry wisdom and teach us life lessons everyday.
As an adult, I've rescued and cared for several senior dogs of my own, ensuring they lived their final years with quality care. Now, as a devoted pet parent to two cats, I can’t imagine a life without furry friends by my side.
In addition to my love for animals and working with them directly, I hold a BA in Expressive & Therapeutic Arts and am an entrepreneur, owning a graphic design business. Having lived in Colorado for the past seven years, I’m committed to establishing a strong community while serving both animals and their owners, helping them live their best lives with the compassion and dedication they deserve.
Andrew M.
Hi, I’m Andrew and here’s a little about me:
I grew up in Chicago with two dogs; the dogs that started it all! In 2010, my family relocated to North Carolina and moved to a horse farm. We fostered and rescued all sorts of animals, from horses and chickens, to dogs, cats, rabbits, and reptiles! I have always been passionate about animals, learning as much as I can about them. I graduated from The University of North Carolina, Asheville, with a degree in Environmental Science, focusing on Conservation Biology and Herpetology. I’ve worked in animal shelters caring for homeless animals and as a veterinary assistant. Throughout it all, I have always enjoyed pet sitting in my community. I have been a trusted pet sitter for over 10 years throughout the US and UK.
After university, my partner and I decided to build a camper van and travel the US. We lived in Southern California for a while where I took care of animals on a ranch before heading back to North Carolina and eventually moving to England. We took our dog Birdie with us and traveled around the UK and Europe! After all that traveling, we decided the place we wanted to settle down was here in Colorado. I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, kayaking and everything else outdoors that this beautiful state has to offer.
I can't wait to meet you and provide excellent care for your furry friends!
Vanessa M.
Hello, my name is Vanessa!
As a Southern Colorado Native, I’ve always had a love for the outdoors & for animals. It was in my 20s that I started to form a deeper connection to them. Now I take every opportunity to say hi and give a loving pet to any animal I’m allowed to. Their presence is so special to me, and spending time with them truly fills my heart with joy.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications from Colorado State University–Pueblo, which has helped strengthen my ability to connect with people and communicate clearly—something I value in both real estate and pet care. I've also volunteered at PAWS animal shelter, giving un-homed fur babies some much-needed love and attention as well. Helping animals in need has only deepened my appreciation for the unconditional love & joy they bring into our lives.
As a seasoned Realtor, I have extensive professional experience being in people’s homes. I will never judge and always respect each homeowner’s personal preferences. When it comes to caring for pets, I follow directions carefully to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved.
At my home, my equally animal-loving fiancé and I have two dogs, a Bengal cat, and a rescue cat—they complete our little family, and life would just not be the same without them!
I look forward to meeting you and caring for your pets!
Michelle S.
Hi, I'm Michelle!
I’m originally from South Africa, where I grew up on a small farm surrounded by animals of all kinds—horses, dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters, cows, ducks, and sheep. My love for animals started early and has only grown over the years.
I hold a Bachelor of Commerce in Sports Management from Rand Afrikaans University, as well as an Honors degree in Sport Science, which I earned in 2001. My academic background, combined with my lifelong passion for animals and physical activity, has shaped both my personal and professional journey.
In 2017, my family and I moved to Canton, GA, where I spent seven wonderful years fostering dogs for the Humane Society of Forsyth and gentling seven wild Mustangs. In 2024, we relocated to beautiful Colorado to enjoy the active, outdoor lifestyle we love so much.
I’ve been a passionate horse rider and trainer for most of my life, and I’ve raised and trained my own four Border Collies. I also had the incredible experience of puppy-raising for the South African Guide Dog Association and—believe it or not—playing with cheetah and lion cubs!
I truly love meeting new people and their pets, and I’m committed to providing the same level of care, love, and attention to your furry family members as I would my own.
Joan M.
Hi! My name is Joan, and I’ve had a lifelong love of animals.
I’m originally from Long Island, NY, where my passion for pets began. Growing up, I brought home all kinds of animals—parakeets, hamsters, kittens, and even a duck!
Later, I moved to Naples, Florida, and attended the University of Florida, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting. An exciting opportunity took me to Johannesburg, South Africa, where I worked in the television department at the University of the Witwatersrand. While there, I had many incredible experiences photographing and filming wildlife.
Missing the U.S., I eventually relocated to the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex in Texas, where I worked for the local NBC affiliate. I now have four children and three grandchildren, and I’ve always shared my home with beloved dogs and cats. Currently, I have three cats—Mojo, Beauty, and Pumpkin.
I was also a store manager at a pet store, caring for a wide variety of animals including tortoises, snakes, lizards, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, gerbils, birds, fish, and hermit crabs. I was actively involved in cat adoptions through local shelters and spent several years working at Three Dog Bakery in Fort Worth. (With your permission, I might even bring a healthy treat or two for your pup!)
I’ve been a pet sitter for many years and am thrilled to be part of Denver Pro Pet Sitting. I’m a caring, empathetic pet professional—the "mom" when you’re not there—and I will love your pets as if they were my own.
Brianna S.
Hi everyone! My name is Bree, and I'm so excited to be here :)
I spent the first 18 years of my life growing up in upstate New York before heading south to Coastal Carolina University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Public Health. For the past three years, I’ve been soaking up the beauty of Colorado and embracing everything this incredible state has to offer!
From a young age, I’ve always had a deep love for animals. I was lucky to grow up surrounded by cats, dogs, hamsters, fish and a bird! One of my favorite memories from childhood is fostering cats. Getting to care for and bond with so many sweet fur babies was absolutely amazing.
Outside of my love for animals, I’m passionate about traveling, yoga, listening to music, dancing, flow art, exercising, and spending time in nature and with the amazing people in my life.
I’m truly looking forward to meeting your furry companions and creating a safe, loving space where they feel cared for and comfortable!
Hi! My name is Jared and here's a little bit about me:
I grew up just outside of Boston and decided to go to South Carolina for college. I ended up graduating from Coastal Carolina University with a degree in History, as it's always been a passion of mine. I'm an avid snowboarder and knew my whole life that after school I wanted to move to Colorado—and I’ve been here for 4 years now!
I've always loved animals and grew up with an adorable Cockapoo named Oliver, whom I took care of for years. Once I went to college, we rescued a lab from a hurricane that hit our campus. We fostered him and eventually found him a great new home. For the past 8 years, I’ve lived with cats and have loved every second of it.
Pet sitting has been a passion of mine for years—there’s nothing more rewarding than getting to care for animals and build trust with both pets and their people. It’s something I genuinely enjoy and take pride in.
Outside of pet sitting, I love being outdoors. I enjoy snowboarding, hiking, biking, camping, fitness, and music!
I have always been a people person and truly enjoy meeting new people and their pets. I can't wait to take care of your furry friends!
