Meet The Team
Hello! My name is Nelson. I'm the proud owner of Denver Pro Pet Sitting. Here is a little about me:
I grew up as a military brat. I moved from state to state and even overseas. In fact, I lived in Japan for three years. Many of my teenage years were spent in Florida, which is where I ended up graduating from high school and college. I received my Bachelor's degree at the University of North Florida, where I majored in Sociology and Psychology. Shortly after, I moved to the beautiful state of Colorado in pursuit of my love for the outdoors and the breathtaking mountainous terrain.
For as long as I can remember, my family was very pet friendly, inviting animals such as dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, reptiles, and more to join our household. I also had the pleasure of helping out my friends with their pet sitting needs. Before I knew it, what I considered a hobby, quickly developed into something much bigger. My exposure to caring for pets at a young age, coupled with my love for animals, is what lead me to develop the company - Denver Pro Pet Sitting. Now, I am lucky to have the opportunity to spread my passion and services to the Denver Metro area. Both you and your pet's satisfaction are my highest priority!
Hi! My name is Danny. I'm a Manager and Pet Sitter for Denver Pro Pet Sitting. Here is a little bit about me:
I was raised in a military and law enforcement family. I’ve lived in many states throughout my life and I spent the majority of my time in Northern Florida. I have a Bachelors Degree from Florida State University (FSU) for Sociology. My father was a K-9 officer for 13 years from which I learned animal obedience techniques and training for many types of dogs. This type of experience has equipped me with the ability to work with a multitude of different types of dogs, personalities and temperaments.
Animals have always been a passion of mine, always bringing a lot of happiness to my life because I consider them family. I rescued my cat, Emma, and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. She brings joy to my life everyday so I understand the loving relationship animals and their owners share. I’m honored for the opportunity to get to know your animal family - and care for them as if they were my own. That’s why I’m a proud team member for Denver Pro Pet Sitting!
Hi, my name is Alisha and here is a little bit about me:
Animals have always been some of my greatest friends! I grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a sweet Keeshond, and my family moved to Colorado in 2002, where we welcomed our second Keeshond into our family. I began working with animals professionally at a veterinary clinic and doggie day care during high school and throughout college, and I loved being around and working with their healing power.
I received my B.A. from Colorado State University in Technical Journalism in 2005, and I pet sat consistently throughout my college experience. In 2010, I moved to Pittsburgh, PA for graduate school to pursue my love of working with people in a clinical role. I received my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and moved back to Denver Colorado in 2013 where I am currently working as a Licensed Professional Counselor pursuing both my loves of working with people and animals at a ranch with horses, dogs, cats, mini-horses, goats, chickens, pigs, and sheep doing equine and animal-assisted therapy. I absolutely love working with animals and caring for them, and I can't wait to meet you and yours! Take good care.
Hi , my name is Diane and here’s a little about me:
I’ve been working professionally with animals since 2001 as an emergency veterinary technician. In addition, I've volunteered with pets of the homeless and injured/orphaned wildlife since 2011. Pet sitting and dog walking has also been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I take great pride in my work with animals and love them with a passion!
I'm the daughter of a military family and grew up mostly overseas in Western Europe until we posted up in Arizona for my high school years, where I graduated. I’m somewhat of a recent addition to Denver (originally from the Bay Area of California), but absolutely love this state! In between classes for my communications degree, working and volunteering, I love to get outdoors and explore. This state has so much natural beauty and the people are some of the friendliest I’ve met yet. I look forward to providing your little furry ones the utmost care! Cheers!
Hi! My name is Brandon and I love animals!
I grew up with Nelson (owner of Denver Pro Pet Sitting) in a military family, which allowed us to see the world as children. We eventually landed in Florida, where I graduated high school and finished my Bachelor's degree in Finance at Florida State University. After living and working in Florida for several years, I relocated to Denver in 2013. It wasn't long before I fell in love with the area, its people, and the countless pets across the city.
I've never known a home without a pet. Currently, I am graced by the presence of two wonderful cats - Boots and Baby Kitten. Over my life, I raised and cared for over 25 pets, including cats, dogs, hamsters, birds, and even a scorpion. I've always loved animals; I even remember crying while watching Old Yeller when I was five years old.
Your little loved ones are in great hands with me. Their well-being, comfort, and happiness is something I take very serious. I look forward to meeting you and providing an excellent experience!
Greetings! My name is Savannah and this is my story:
I settled into Colorado about 2 years ago coming from a small farm town in central Illinois. Throughout my childhood I put in my part to help care for my family's diverse farm animals and pets learning how to care for and hold a safe space for all different species. Cool crisp mountain air and the love for animals soon motivated me to take a leap and landed me out here in the Denver area to start my new adventure where I spent some time in Animal Technology school and later found myself swimming side by side with dogs for therapy and exercise. I began to fall in love with working with animals and the importance of fitness. I set a few more goals for myself around my passion of yoga. After an intensive 4 week program I received my yoga teacher training certificate and I currently teach yoga at a local gym. My heart is full to the brim with gratitude to have the opportunity to be able to connect with so many people and animals for a living on all different levels. I can't wait to meet you and your furry companions and create a bond that will last a lifetime!
