Denver Pro Pet Sitting is the most experienced and professional pet sitting service in Denver.  Whether you need your dogs walked during your work day or are going out of town and would like to have a professional take care of your pets (and/or home) while you're gone - we are at your service!  We take pride in our work and aim to provide our clients and their furry families with excellent service, consistently. Denver Pro Pet Sitting is fully Bonded and Insured through Pet Sitters Associates and are also Certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. You can rest assured when you book with us, you will have a fully qualified and experienced professional pet sitter taking care of your loved ones.

All pet sitters undergo extensive background checks and include:
1) A criminal background and credit check
2) Past employment verification
3) Thorough reference checks

Additionally, regular training in animal education is required which includes:

Hello! My name is Nelson. I'm the proud owner of Denver Pro Pet Sitting. Here is a little about me:

I grew up as an Air Force brat. I moved from state to state and even overseas. In fact, I lived in Japan for three years. Many of my teenage years were spent in Florida, which is where I ended up graduating from high school and college. I received my Bachelor's degree at the University of North Florida, where I majored in Sociology and Psychology. Shortly after, I moved to the beautiful state of Colorado in pursuit of my love for the outdoors and the breathtaking mountainous terrain. It is here that I met my gorgeous wife - and now have a family that includes two amazing children. I’m so lucky!

For as long as I can remember, my family was very pet friendly, inviting animals such as dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, reptiles, and more to join our household. I also had the pleasure of helping out my friends with their pet sitting needs. Before I knew it, what I considered a hobby, quickly developed into something much bigger. My exposure to caring for pets at a young age, coupled with my love for animals, is what lead me to develop the company - Denver Pro Pet Sitting. Now, I am lucky to have the opportunity to spread my passion and services to the Denver Metro area.

What Denver Pro Pet Sitting Provides

 

 Meet & Greet (In-person and virtual)

An initial consultation is offered free of charge and addresses questions, concerns, and details needed in order to provide the best possible service for you and your pets. Please fill out the contact form and we will work together to schedule an appointment!

Additional Meet & Greet options:

In-person: $20 (~20 -30 minutes)

Virtual: $13 (up to 15 minutes)

Pet Sitting

Do you have pet that needs attention, love and care for when you aren't there? Our pet sitting service is customized to suit both your pet's and personal needs. Visits are 35 - 60+ minutes long and can include services for your pets such as:

Changing cat litter, fresh food and water, TLC, playtime, daily journals, administering medications, text message updates, etc.

You also can choose from additional services that we offer for your home at no extra cost:

Trash take out, water plants, rotate lighting, mail pickup, etc.

Webcams are also available for rent so that you can watch your pets from wherever you are! Service based on availability.

Overnight Pet Sitting

Are you going out of town and would like that warm fuzzy knowing that your pet is being cared for by a professional? Our overnight pet sitting service will offer you just that! Overnight pet sitting includes any of the standard services listed under the 'Pet Sitting' heading.

Overnight stays will take place between 7/8pm - 7/8am and are customized to suit you and your pet's needs.
 

Overnight House Sitting

Are you leaving town and would like a peace of mind knowing that your house is being looked after by a professional? Overnight house sitting is customized to fit your needs and includes all standard services listed under the "House Sitting" heading.

Pet Taxi

Do you need assistance transporting your pet to the vet, airport, groomer, or any other destination? The pet taxi service allows you flexibility in making appointments and aims to make your life easier.

 

Dog Walks

Have a busy work day or are out traveling and can't make it home to take your dog out for a walk? We offer dog walks for a very affordable price!

Extended In-home pet sitting

Our Extended In-Home Pet Sitting options offer our clients custom professional care for their furry family while providing the assigned Denver Pro Pet Sitter a bit of flexibility to leave when necessary - but only for a limited period. This allows us to offer extended time with your loved one at a discounted rate. We offer 6 hour, 9 hour, 12 hour, 15 hour and 24 hour options. We also offer hourly pet sitting at a discounted rate when booking consecutive hours.

Pet Concierge For Events And Weddings

We are delighted to present our exclusive Pet Concierge Services for Events and Weddings at Denver Pro Pet Sitting! Recognizing the significance of including your beloved pets in your special moments, we have tailored a dedicated service to seamlessly integrate furry family members into your events and weddings. Our committed team is adept at providing personalized care and attention throughout the occasion, from coordinating transportation and accommodations to ensuring the comfort and happiness of your pets. Early Arrival OVERNIGHT PET SITTING - $145

Extended In-Home Pet Sitting

 

At Denver Pro Pet Sitting, we understand that some pets require longer periods of care and attention while you're away. Our extended in-home pet sitting services are designed to cater to the needs of pets who benefit from a more extended duration of care, ensuring their comfort, well-being, and happiness during your absence.

 

* A $50 after-hours fee will be applied if the start of the extended stay starts before 6am.
*Additional pet charges are determined on a case by case basis and may or may not apply.
*Additional discounting considered with multiple bookings.

Specialized waterless shampoo and quick clean-up, designed especially for your pet's dirty paws and quick freshening needs. Service can be combined with any visit.

Additional Charges & Options

Holiday Charges

The following holidays will incur a $15 per visit fee for day visits:
New Year’s Eve,  New Year’s Day,  Memorial Day,  Independence Day,  Labor Day,  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve,  Christmas Day.

Extended In-Home Pet Sitting Services incur holiday fees: $40 (6 hour day), $50 (12 hour day), $60 (24 hour day).

Overnight stays that occur on holidays incur a $40 holiday fee.

Urgent care requests

*An urgent request occurs when the request is placed after 7pm the night prior to the visit OR or a visit is requested on a major holiday for the following day.

For current customers:

$10 charge if you are needing urgent care for any visit under 60 minutes.
$20 charge for any service that’s 60 minutes+ in length.
$30 for same day overnight requests.
$60 for any extended stay requests 12 hours or more in length for services needed within 24 hours.

*Please note that we charge this in order to accommodate our schedule.   

For new customers:

$25 charge if visit falls within 48 hours of requesting.
$35 charge if visit falls within 24 hours of requesting.

AFTER-HOURS Fee

In the case that your visits (not including overnight stays) need to take place after our normal business hours (7am - 8pm), a $12 late night fee will be applied.

FAQ - Know More about Denver Pro Pet Sitting

  • Denver Pro Pet Sitting has tons of experience servicing all sorts of pets. You can rest assured that you are dealing with a truly professional, compassionate and highly trained company that will treat your pets and home with the utmost respect and empathy. Additionally, DPPS is:

    - Fully Bonded and Insured through Pet Sitters Associates
    - Certified in Pet CPR and First Aid

  • Yes! No client information is ever given to any third parties. All information on our client portal is done with the same 128 bit level encryption your bank uses.

  • We are very flexible to cancellations because we know things come up and schedules change. However, please be aware that a fee of 35% of that day's visit(s) will be applied if service(s) are canceled after 7pm the night before they occur. If cancellation occurs same day, a fee of 50% of that day's visit will be applied. If the pet sitter shows up to do the visit and then it is canceled, the original charge for the visit stands. A fee of 50% of the visits booked will be applied if visits are cancelled within 2 weeks of major holidays.

    For extended stays, a 50% cancellation fee will be applied if the reservation is canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled service start time. We understand that circumstances may change, but please be mindful of this policy as it allows us to accommodate other clients effectively and assure work is available for our pet sitters.

  • If you are in need of a last-minute reservation, Denver Pro Pet Sitting will strive to accommodate your needs, but can only do so based on availability.

  • All animals including, but not limited to: dogs, cats, fish, turtles, hamsters, birds, etc.Item description

  • All services listed in our service agreement will be provided in a reliable, professional and trustworthy manner. Denver Pro Pet Sitting is only liable for claims arising from negligence or willful misconduct. Due to the extreme unpredictability of animals, we cannot accept responsibility for unusual circumstances (i.e. pet stains, furniture damage, spills, bites, water stains that are due to the actions of pets, etc.). Also, if your pets have access to the outside, we are NOT responsible for injury, disappearance, or fines.

  • Yes! Your pet sitter receives all of their tips minus a very small processing fee.

  • Yes. References are available upon request.

  • We welcome your feedback! Submit a review or you can call us.

  • The first thing you need to do is contact Denver Pro Pet Sitting to book an appointment.:

  • Payment is made very simple using our client portal. An invoice will be sent to the email you provide. Payment must be made within 5 days after the last service has been completed. We accept credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal and ACH transfer via the client portal. We also accept cash or check in limited cases. Late payment charge is $10.00 per day.

  • We try our very best to accommodate visits with the same pet sitter each time. This is very unique in the pet sitting industry. Only when necessary will there be another pet sitter that fills in.

  • If you are new client of Denver Pro Pet Sitting, please try to make your arrangements two weeks in advance . This will allow time for the initial consultation and scheduling. If you are a current client, a one-week advance notice is sufficient. If service is needed during a holiday, please reach out to schedule as soon as possible. Holiday season tends to book up fast!

  • Yes. Vet prescribed medication can be administered including pills, drops, and injections. Medications that may pose a risk to the pet sitter will not be administered.

  • In the case of an emergency with your pet, we will promptly contact your vet and transport them to the proper facility, if necessary. We will then reach out to you with the contact information you provided for such occurrences. If there is ever an emergency with your home, we will call you, additional emergency contacts you provide, authorities, and/or a preferred repair service. 

  • If you appreciate and see the value in our services, please feel free to refer us to friends and family. We will show our gratitude by offering you a FREE pet sitting or dog walking visit!

  • Check out our blog for weekly insightful postings on a variety of subjects pertaining to pets. You may also find a coupon or two!

  • We offer simple leash training, but for a more in-depth approach, we partner with local business, Ancillary K9, who offers obedience training, puppy training and aggressive dog training.
